Source publication date:
The Boys' U17 World Championship draw divided twenty-four national teams into six groups of four ahead of the tournament in Doha. FIVB scheduled the second edition for 19 to 29 August, following Italy's victory in the inaugural competition in 2024.
Hosts Qatar were grouped with Mexico, France and Poland. Italy joined Tunisia, India and Romania in Pool B, while Argentina, Puerto Rico, Pakistan and Algeria formed Pool C. Spain, Cuba, Venezuela and Czechia completed Pool D.
Iran, Brazil, Bulgaria and Japan entered Pool E; Chinese Taipei, Egypt, the United States and Türkiye formed Pool F. The revised format advances the leading two teams from each group plus the four best third-place finishers into the round of sixteen.
