New Zealand defeated Adelaide 111–107 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre to become the inaugural Ignite Cup champion. The Breakers won the new trophy and $300,000 in prize money after overcoming a seven-point half-time deficit.

Parker Jackson-Cartwright scored 23 of his 29 points in the second half, while Sam Mennenga and Izaiah Brockington each contributed 21. Reuben Te Rangi added 17. Mennenga’s late free throws secured the result after Adelaide reduced the gap during a tense final minute.

Bryce Cotton scored 34 and supplied nine assists for Adelaide, with Zylan Cheatham and Nick Rakocevic adding 21 apiece. New Zealand’s 64-point second half proved decisive, bringing a winning conclusion to its campaign while Adelaide turned toward the NBL playoffs.
