Bucharest confirmed for Romanian senior championships
Five title categories will be contested at the Sport Club Rapid hall in March.

Romania’s National Championships were scheduled for 19–22 March at the Sport Club Rapid Competition Hall in Bucharest. The four-day programme will include all five senior title categories: men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles in the Romanian capital.
Iulian Chirita and Bernadette Szocs were identified as the reigning singles champions from the 2025 edition, which was also held in Bucharest. Their successes form the recent championship background as the country’s leading players prepare for another national competition.
The previous doubles winners included Elizabeta Samara and Andreea Dragoman, and Eduard Ionescu with Darius Movileanu. Ionescu also partnered Szocs to win mixed doubles during the last championships in the same city.
