Source publication date:
CAF announced larger payments for the winners of its two principal club competitions in the 2025/26 season. Champions League prize money will rise to six million dollars, while the Confederation Cup champions will receive four million dollars.
Each competition’s winning payment increases by two million dollars. That represents a fifty-percent rise for the Champions League and a doubling for the Confederation Cup, as CAF continues expanding the financial support available to African clubs.
The announcement said total prize money and solidarity payments now exceed forty-two million dollars per season. Clubs eliminated in preliminary rounds receive one hundred thousand dollars, a support measure expanded the previous year. CAF also confirmed May dates for the competitions’ two-legged finals.
