Hemel Hempstead Town beat Worthing 1–0 through Remaye Campbell's early second-half finish. Mathew Achuba won possession near halfway and released Campbell during a counterattack, allowing the striker to curl his shot past Josh Jeffries.

Worthing captain Joel Colbran returned after a heel problem and made an important goal-line clearance. The visitors had created limited first-half chances, while Campbell and Isiah Noel-Williams threatened at the other end without opening the scoring before the interval.

Worthing introduced Remiero Moulton, George Cox and Ollie Godziemski in search of an equaliser. Michael Johnson saved from Coleman De-Graft and Moulton, and Godziemski headed wide. Hemel protected their clean sheet through seven minutes of added time.
