Carlisle United beat Yeovil Town 3–0 after scoring all their goals before the interval. Captain Morgan Feeney headed the opener in the fifth minute, meeting Jack Ellis's delivery after a corner had initially been cleared.

Luke Armstrong doubled the advantage from the penalty spot after Finn Cousin-Dawson tripped Stephen Wearne. Ryan Galvin then finished a passing move during first-half stoppage time, putting the home side firmly in control by the break.

Yeovil showed greater defensive resilience in the second half, with Jed Ward making several saves and Kyle Ferguson intercepting dangerous deliveries. The visitors' best opportunity fell to James Daly, who shot over from Tahvon Campbell's pass. Carlisle also had a later effort disallowed for offside.
