FIP president Luigi Carraro outlined plans for an amateur circuit and wider participation growth in an interview published by the federation. Speaking around the Hexagon Cup in Madrid, he described FIP Beyond as a new global amateur programme intended to begin in April.

Carraro linked that initiative to an ambition to grow the worldwide playing population from 35 million to 50 million within five years. He also discussed the transition of Hexagon Cup into a multi-event team competition under federation governance.

The interview addressed tournament conditions and scoring changes. Carraro said roughly three quarters of Premier Padel events would be indoors in 2026 and explained the introduction of Star Point after two advantages.
