Cascade YC described how the Admiral Ready to Play fund had helped establish a new under-seven girls' team. In a March interview published by the FAW, coach Aaron Horley said the support paid toward equipment and a kit, reducing practical barriers to starting the side.

Around sixteen girls had attended a session since training began in August, with twelve registering to play. The established Caerphilly-area club already had more than 350 boys and girls across its wider teams, offering a pathway from junior football through to senior sides.

Horley reported growing confidence among players who had initially been reluctant to leave their parents or try new activities. The club wanted to expand the section and create more age-group teams. Admiral's wider fund aims to support 150 new under-six to under-nine girls' teams over three years.
