Warsaw discussions included calendar pressures and the future development of continental tournaments.
Source publication date:
CEV President Roko Sikirić travelled to Warsaw for a meeting with the Polish Volleyball League and clubs from PlusLiga and TAURON Liga. The discussions brought federation, league and club representatives together to exchange views on the future of European competitions.
The programme included a panel with Polish league and federation authorities, allowing clubs to describe practical operational concerns and longer-term plans. League president Artur Popko welcomed the opportunity for direct and transparent communication with the continental confederation.
Calendar coordination emerged as a major challenge. CEV representatives said further detail would depend on solutions proposed by the international federation. The meeting therefore established a continuing dialogue with important stakeholders, while leaving concrete scheduling reforms for later consultation and decisions.
