CEV President Roko Sikirić presented the confederation's approach to solidarity and competitive balance during the EU Sport Forum 2026 panel in Paphos.
Sikirić said the CEV Solidarity Fund was designed to provide transparent, targeted support alongside capacity-building programmes for managers and coaches. He also highlighted the confederation's school project, which had reached more than 600,000 children across about 30 European countries.
The CEV linked its competition reforms to the same policy direction, citing reduced financial burdens in senior national-team competitions and the planned U20 Volleyball European League from 2027 as measures intended to widen development opportunities.
