Chelmsford appoint Nick Eyre as goalkeeper coach
The former Clarets keeper returned to Angelo Harrop’s staff.
Source publication date:
Chelmsford City appointed former player Nick Eyre as goalkeeper coach, adding him to Angelo Harrop's backroom staff. Eyre returned to a club he had represented during a playing career that included several teams in the non-League pyramid.
He developed through professional academy systems at Ipswich Town and Tottenham Hotspur and represented England at schoolboy level. His senior experience subsequently included Grays Athletic, Dagenham & Redbridge and Chelmsford before he moved into coaching.
After retiring as a player, Eyre established his own goalkeeper-coaching business. The club welcomed his return and said it looked forward to his work with the Clarets, confirming a specific addition to the staff supporting its goalkeepers and first-team manager.
