Independent analysis reported substantial community value from the club and trust.
Source publication date:
Chester FC and its Community Trust published their first social impact value report, presenting an independent assessment of their wider contribution. The analysis was carried out by Corporate Social Responsibility partners Collins McHugh and covered effects on society and the environment.
The report estimated that the Community Trust generated £10.20 in social value for each pound invested. The club described that return as substantially above the national average and said the findings provided measurable evidence of community outcomes.
General manager Albert Davies said the assessment helped demonstrate social, economic and wellbeing effects of work on matchdays and beyond. He credited staff, volunteers, partners, funders, participants and supporters for the value identified in the publication.
