All eight leading seeds reached the Cincinnati Gaynor Cup quarterfinals after the second round of the Silver event. Amanda Sobhy produced a commanding 11-3, 11-4, 11-2 victory over Saran Nghiem, while Georgina Kennedy defeated Ainaa Amani without dropping a game.

Jasmine Hutton required 22 minutes to beat Nadine Shahin in straight games. Salma Hany, Rachel Arnold and Grace Gear also advanced 3-0, keeping the leading seeded field intact before the tournament moved into its last-eight stage.

Melissa Alves was the only top-eight seed to lose a game, overcoming Jana Swaify 3-1 in 45 minutes. Hollie Naughton advanced when Lauren Baltayan retired during their contest, setting a quarterfinal meeting with Hutton.
