Cotton and Vasiljevic send Adelaide into NBL championship series
The pair combined for 65 points as the 36ers defeated South East Melbourne 108–96 in the deciding play-off game.

Adelaide secured its first NBL championship series appearance since 2018 with a 108–96 deciding play-off win over South East Melbourne. Bryce Cotton and DJ Vasiljevic combined for 65 points as the 36ers built an early lead and resisted the Phoenix's attempts to recover.
Cotton finished with 38 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Vasiljevic returned to the starting lineup and scored 27, including six three pointers, while Nick Rakocevic added fourteen points and twelve rebounds.
Adelaide won the rebound count 52–31 and shot 57 per cent from the field. Ian Clark scored 32 for the Phoenix but lacked enough support to reverse the result. The victory came in the 36ers' first game after former championship coach Ken Cole's death.
