Marco Odermatt secured a fourth consecutive men’s super-G Crystal Globe when the Courchevel race was cancelled. Persistent overnight snowfall left roughly thirty centimetres of fresh snow and an unstable surface despite organisers’ attempts to prepare the course for competition.

The race had already been moved from Saturday, and no further date remained before the World Cup Finals. Chief race director Markus Waldner confirmed that conditions prevented racing and that the event could not be rescheduled within the remaining programme.

Odermatt held 425 points, giving him a 158-point advantage over Vincent Kriechmayr with one race left in Kvitfjell. The super-G trophy joined the overall and downhill titles he had clinched in Courchevel earlier in the weekend.
