Victor Crouin defeated Juan Vargas 11–6, 11–7, 11–3 to reach the Canadian Men’s Open final. The thirty-nine-minute Calgary semifinal returned the French player to the championship match after finishing runner-up in 2023 and reaching the last four in 2025.
Vargas led 2–0 in the opening game before Crouin won seven consecutive points to seize control. The Colombian again went ahead in the second, but the world number five moved from 5–5 to an 8–5 advantage and then secured a two-game lead.
Crouin established a 9–0 margin in the third and completed a straightforward finish. His final opponent was Yahya Elnawasany, whose separate semifinal victory extended an upset-filled tournament run. Crouin’s efficient performance left him well placed for another attempt to claim the Canadian title.
