Czechia earned their first victory in the Women's EHF EURO Cup by defeating Türkiye 34–26 in Kastamonu. Both teams had lost their opening matches against Denmark and Hungary, making the third-round meeting an opportunity to collect their first points.

Türkiye briefly led 2–1 before Czechia took control through a six-to-one scoring run. The visitors reached a 12–5 advantage after twenty-one minutes and carried the same seven-goal margin into halftime, maintaining a substantial lead through the rest of the contest.

Eliška Desortová made her EURO Cup debut with eight goals from eight attempts, while Nurceren Akgün Güntepe scored six without missing for Türkiye. The teams were scheduled to meet again in Zlín three days later, giving the hosts an immediate return fixture.
