Danilina and Krunic complete remarkable Doha comeback
The doubles champions saved a title point after trailing 6–0, 5–2 in the final.

Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic won the Doha doubles title after recovering from a 6–0, 5–2 deficit against Hsieh Su-wei and Jelena Ostapenko. The fourth seeds saved a championship point before completing a 0–6, 7–6, 10–8 match-tiebreak victory.
Hsieh and Ostapenko took the opening set in twenty-three minutes and moved within one game of the trophy. Danilina and Krunic escaped the title point at 5–3, forced a second-set tiebreak and won its final four points.
The eventual champions built an 8–3 match-tiebreak lead, then held off another recovery to finish. It was their first shared WTA 1000 title and second trophy together after several previous runner-up finishes.
