Source publication date:
Dartford Women advanced to the Kent Women's Cup final after beating London City Lionesses' under-21 side in a penalty shootout. The game finished 1–1 before Dartford prevailed 6–5 on penalties to set up a final against Chatham Town.
Shauni Griffiths put Dartford ahead in the 28th minute after Xayla-Rae Alberts intercepted the goalkeeper's pass. London City equalised in the 74th minute, and Jade Charlton made important saves during the extended closing stages to keep the visitors level.
Charlton then stopped a penalty that could have secured the hosts' progression. Griffiths converted to force sudden death, and another Charlton save created a winning opportunity for Georgie Davis, who calmly converted the decisive kick.
