Daube scores nine as Apollon win Conference Cup opener
The Greek club overturned an early deficit against Partizan in Potsdam.

Hannes Daube scored nine goals as Apollon defeated Partizan 20–16 in the men’s Conference Cup second round. Partizan led 6–4 after the opening quarter, but Apollon drew level by halftime and established a two-goal advantage during the third period.
The Greek club maintained its lead through the final quarter to open the group with a victory. In the other Potsdam match, Panionios beat the hosts 21–9, with the Bitsakos brothers contributing nine goals between them.
Elsewhere, Posillipo and Honved recorded their second victories against French opponents. Mornar won a shootout, while Primorje lost one to A-Polo, and Tenerife recovered from a four-goal deficit to beat Rapid Bucharest by three goals.
