Denmark and Norway lead updated four-year handball rankings
Denmark also occupy first place in both youth national-team lists.

Denmark remained first in the EHF men’s four-year national-team ranking after adding the 2026 European title to their world championship success. They led with 118 points, followed by France on ninety-four and Germany on ninety-one.
Croatia rose to fourth following world silver and European bronze, while Portugal climbed two places to fifth after consecutive record tournament finishes. Slovenia entered the men’s top ten, displacing Spain as the federation updated the multi-tournament standings.
Norway led the women’s senior ranking on 118 points. Denmark moved ahead of France into second, and Germany rose to fourth after their world championship silver medal. Denmark also topped both younger-age-category rankings, extending their leading position across the senior men’s and youth lists.
