Denmark defeated Wales 4-0 at Vejle Stadion in qualifying for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship. Adam Daghim opened the scoring after seventeen minutes, and two further goals before the break gave the hosts a decisive advantage over Matty Jones' team.

Clement Bischoff's dangerous delivery found the net in the thirty-ninth minute after causing confusion in the Welsh defence. Conrad Harder then volleyed home three minutes later, leaving Wales with a three-goal deficit despite its promising start and an early corner.

Jones made three changes at half-time and Cian Ashford tested Theo Sander with a curling effort. Goalkeeper Evan Watts continued to make saves as Denmark controlled the contest, before substitute August Priske converted a low cross at the far post to complete the scoring.
