Fausto Desalu won the Ancona 60m final in 6.66, improving his personal best by one hundredth in his first indoor appearance over the distance for four years. The Olympic relay champion had also won his heat in 6.71.

Stefano Abbinante finished second in 6.72 and Mario Lambrughi third with a personal best of 6.74. Ayomide Folorunso won the women’s 200m in 23.72, while Alice Muraro improved to 23.84 at the same venue.

FIDAL’s February report also recorded Eloisa Coiro’s 2:00.53 third place over 800m at Val-de-Reuil, inside the World Indoor qualifying standard. Sveva Gerevini finished second in the Tallinn pentathlon with 4439 points during her return to combined-events competition.
