FIDAL announced a television premiere for Kairós: The Pink Ambassadors Towards Athens on International Women’s Day. The documentary is scheduled for 8 March at 10:20 on Real Time and follows participants in the Fondazione Veronesi running programme.
Viviana, Tamara and Chiara are the three central figures, each having experienced cancer. They joined a structured training pathway supported by coaches from the Italian athletics federation, with the Athens Marathon serving as their competitive objective.
Produced by Bonfire, the film combines training sessions, preparations and shared experiences with the women’s individual stories. The federation described the project as an account of community support and the participants’ return to sporting goals, rather than a record of race performance alone.
