Perth defeated Cairns 98–84 at RAC Arena, with Kristian Doolittle and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr combining for 59 points. The victory was Perth’s third in succession and moved the Wildcats back into fourth place at 19–11, ahead of Melbourne United.

Doolittle scored a season-high 32 with seven rebounds and four assists, while Lual-Acuil added 27 on twelve-of-seventeen shooting. Cairns stayed within reach and drew to three points late, before Perth’s experienced players closed out the contest in front of 11,161 spectators.

Andrew Andrews contributed 25 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Cairns. Mojave King added 21 and Jack McVeigh 18. Perth’s remaining schedule included another home game against Brisbane as the club pursued a favourable postseason position.
