Dourado header takes América past Philadelphia
A home draw completes a 2-1 aggregate Champions Cup win.

Club América reached the Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinals after drawing 1-1 with Philadelphia Union at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes. The Mexican club advanced 2-1 on aggregate, having won the first leg by a single goal in Philadelphia.
Rodrigo Dourado extended América's overall advantage after six minutes, heading in a Raphael Veiga set piece. Jesús Bueno converted a penalty early in the second half to reduce Philadelphia's deficit, but the visitors could not find another goal to change the outcome.
Dourado was named player of the match after contributing the decisive goal, two interceptions and two clearances. América's next opponent is Nashville SC, giving the club another meeting with MLS opposition in the quarterfinals.
