Kiel Week’s Olympic-class programme ended on 24 June with Germany taking all three 470 medals. Weak and shifting winds allowed only four of the twelve planned medal races to be held.

Canada’s Georgia and Antonia Lewin-Lafrance won the 49erFX competition, ahead of Estonia’s Helen Pais and Helen Ausman. Germany’s Sophie Steinlein and Catherine Bartelheimer took bronze.

Attilio Borio won ILCA 7 for Italy and Helena Wolff took ILCA 6 gold for Denmark. Britain’s John Gimson and Anna Burnet won Nacra 17. Those classes could not sail further medal races, so their confirmed overall results reflected racing already completed rather than an invented final.
