Jakob Dusek won the men’s snowboard cross World Cup in Montafon, passing all three opponents through the final turn to secure his first home victory. Leon Ulbricht finished second and Aidan Chollet third, leaving the German with a one-point season lead before the Canadian finale.

Dusek’s sixth career victory followed several weeks of illness after the Olympics. Earlier eliminations for Adam Lambert and other contenders changed the standings, while Ulbricht’s eighty points moved him ahead of Chollet in the race for the men’s overall Crystal Globe.

Sina Siegenthaler claimed her second women’s World Cup win, beating Josie Baff and Charlotte Bankes. Bankes regained the overall lead with a thirteen-point advantage over Lea Casta, who finished seventh on the day.
