Source publication date:
Borussia Dusseldorf qualified for the men’s Champions League final four after earning the two points required in its home quarterfinal return against Muhlhausen. A 3–0 away victory had put the second seed in a strong position, allowing the return encounter to finish at 2–0.
Anton Kallberg defeated Nico Muller in straight games to bring Dusseldorf closer to the May championship weekend. Kanak Jha then faced a tougher opening against Ovidiu Ionescu, dropping the first game before taking control of the match.
Jha won the next three games to deliver the decisive team point. Dusseldorf’s progression continued its pursuit of another title in a competition the club had already won seven times, with its semifinal place now confirmed.
