An 11.3-point victory over Stroem delivered the Austrian’s second career win.

Lisa Eder won the women’s World Cup competition in Hinzenbach for her first individual victory on Austrian snow. She led throughout, combining jumps of 88.5 and 86 metres for 247.1 points, and finished 11.3 points ahead of Anna Odine Stroem.

Nika Prevc recovered from tenth after the first round to take third with 230.3 points. Her final jump of 89.5 metres brought her just 0.2 points above Norway’s Heidi Dyhre Traaserud, who slipped from third to fourth in the final classification.

Eder’s result was her second career and season victory after winning in Zao in January. It improved on her runner-up finish behind Prevc the previous day, while Nika Vodan completed the leading five in the second Hinzenbach competition.
