Egyptian pair overturn Toronto’s leading seeds
Elnawasany and ElSherbini won four-game semifinals to set an all-Egyptian McMillan Goodfellow final.

Yahya Elnawasany and Mohamed ElSherbini set up an all-Egyptian final at the McMillan Goodfellow Classic in Toronto. Both players defeated higher-seeded opponents in four games at Toronto Athletic Club to reach the championship match of the Copper-level PSA tournament.
Third seed Elnawasany recovered from losing the opening game against top seed Greg Lobban. He won 9-11, 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 in 74 minutes, reaching his second final of the season after increasing the pace of the contest.
Fourth seed ElSherbini defeated second seed Miguel Rodriguez 11-4, 6-11, 11-7, 11-9 in 70 minutes. The result put him into a PSA final for the first time since October 2023.
