ElShorbagy brothers lead released Sportwerk Hamburg Open draws
Salma Hany heads the women’s field at the April Bronze tournament.

Marwan and Mohamed ElShorbagy headed the released men’s draw for the Sportwerk Hamburg Open, scheduled for 15–19 April. Sportwerk Club was to stage a Bronze-level tournament for a third consecutive year, with Salma Hany the leading seed in the women’s competition.
Marwan occupied the top seeding position ahead of Mohamed, while Youssef Soliman and Aly Abou Eleinen were seeded third and fourth. Mohamed entered with fifty-one PSA titles, one behind Peter Nicol’s total in third place on the historical winners’ list.
Nele Gilis was the women’s second seed, followed by Jasmine Hutton and Melissa Alves. Germany’s Raphael Kandra drew Toufik Mekhalfi in round one. Wildcards Marek Panacek, Yannik Omlor, Maya Weishar and Katerina Tycova added further regional interest to the released fields.
