England Athletics reports broad club involvement at the National Running Show
More than 350 clubs featured in its community hub during the two-day event.

England Athletics reported strong engagement at the National Running Show, where more than thirty thousand visitors attended across two days. Its Run Club Hub represented more than 350 clubs, providing a space for members to share their identity and discuss the role of local running communities.
The federation’s funetics activity zone attracted more than 550 visitors, introducing children and families to running, jumping and throwing through accessible challenges. A separate membership stand generated conversations with different types of runners about the services and opportunities available through England Athletics.
Talks and panels covered coaching, community support, women’s participation and long-term athlete development. Contributors included Sophie Power, Jo Pavey and coaches with experience of performance and grassroots sport, linking the event’s practical activities with discussion about retaining participants and supporting volunteers.
