England Athletics chief executive Chris Jones outlined how the federation would incorporate the new track-and-field participation vision into its delivery plans. The organisation had discussed the independent review through staff teams, regional councils, the England Council and its board.

For 2026, Jones identified reviews of the facilities and participation strategies, competition-provider funding, licensing arrangements, Club Standards and education pathways for coaches and officials. He also committed to greater involvement of young people and continued development of digital services.

The federation plans regional athletics hubs involving clubs, universities, local authorities and other partners. Those hubs would support smaller local clusters through shared learning and development. Jones also encouraged competition providers to adapt the vision to their own communities and participation needs.
