England opens limited team staff recruitment for 2026

England Athletics invited expressions of interest for team coach and manager roles in 2026. The federation said opportunities were limited because prospective Commonwealth Games staff would fill many posts to develop experience and become familiar with athletes ahead of Glasgow.

The School Games National Finals are due to introduce Dynamic New Athletics, with around ten regional teams expected. Competition takes place in Loughborough on 4–5 September, and staff and athletes will stay there from 3 September.

Additional roles cover road and mountain running teams, requiring relevant athlete-support experience. Applicants must review the staff selection requirements before submitting interest by 20 April. The selection process is expected to take up to four weeks, with successful candidates contacted during that period.
