England won the women’s international team competition and took men’s silver at the Armagh International Road Race. Wet and windy conditions tested the representative squads, but the women placed three runners in the top ten and all four inside the first fifteen.

Eleanor Curran led the women in fourth place over three kilometres with 9:15. Faye O’Hare and Holly Weedall finished seventh and eighth in 9:20, while Gemma Kersey completed the scoring performance in thirteenth place with 9:29.

Archie Davis led England’s men in sixth place over five kilometres with 13:47, followed by Jack Gray and Finley Proffitt in tenth and twelfth. Northern Ireland narrowly won the men’s team competition, while England’s manager congratulated the athletes and coaches for securing both podium results in difficult weather.
