ETTU reported strong interest in hosting its 2028 competitions, with Romania, Sweden and Türkiye applying for the European Individual Championships. France, Switzerland and Türkiye sought the Europe Top Sixteen Cup, while France also submitted an application for the Europe Youth Top Ten.

Youth championship bids came from Italy, Georgia, Finland and Türkiye. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Portugal and Türkiye applied for the European Under-Twenty-One Championships. The under-thirteen competition attracted the largest group of applicants: France, Portugal, Poland, Romania and Italy.

The Executive Board was due to select host associations in July after final presentations during its meeting at the 2026 European Youth Championships. ETTU President Pedro Moura welcomed the growing interest and described assessing the competing bids as a demanding but positive task for the board.
