Source publication date:
Exeter City recalled Charlie Cummins from his loan at Weston-super-Mare. The midfielder had joined in October as Scott Rogers's first signing after taking charge and contributed two goals and two assists across 22 appearances for the club.
Rogers praised Cummins's approach and performances throughout the loan. The midfielder's final outing had included a goal and the man-of-the-match award in Weston's home win, with his parents travelling from Ireland to watch him play.
The manager expressed hope that Cummins would now gain an opportunity at Exeter and earn a new contract. Weston thanked the League One club for trusting them with the young player and wished him well as he returned to his parent side.
