Faroese federation confirms March transfer deadline
The window closes for players aged fifteen and above.

The Faroese federation reminded clubs and players that its transfer window would close at 4pm on 13 March. The deadline applied to anyone who had turned fifteen before 1 January 2026 and intended to move between clubs during the current registration period.
The association explained that the coverage had expanded in 2020. Before that change, the window applied only to contracted players; the updated system also covered girls, boys, women and men meeting the age threshold, irrespective of whether they held a contract.
A summer registration period was also confirmed, opening on 15 June and closing at 4pm on 14 July. The announcement therefore clarified both the immediate March deadline and the next opportunity for eligible players to complete a club transfer.
