FAW resumes public forums to shape its next strategy
Six area-association sessions will gather feedback from clubs, volunteers and supporters.
Source publication date:
The Football Association of Wales announced a second round of Football Fforwm meetings to help shape its next strategic plan. The spring and summer sessions would involve all six area associations, following an initial series of discussions with the football community in November.
Clubs, coaches, referees, players, volunteers and supporters were invited to contribute. The agenda would review progress since the Ein Cymru strategy launched in 2021, discuss developments within each area association and examine early priorities for the next strategic cycle.
Events were arranged in Bangor, Aberystwyth, Swansea, Newport, the Vale of Glamorgan and Wrexham, each beginning at 18:30. Chief executive Noel Mooney said the earlier meetings had supplied useful feedback and that continuing engagement would inform the strategy due to launch during 2026.
