Isabel Fernandez Jimenez scored 567 points in the W1 category at Spain’s indoor championships in Jaén on 21 February. The sixty-arrow round at eighteen metres established a Spanish record, according to World Archery.

The federation described the score as a world record pending ratification. That qualification is essential: the reported performance and national record are confirmed, while formal international recognition was still outstanding when the article appeared on 25 February.

Fernandez Jimenez entered archery through a programme at Toledo’s National Hospital for Paraplegics in 2023 and obtained her licence in 2024. Her international progress included a 2025 debut gold in Rome and silvers in Nove Mesto and at the Gwangju world championships. The indoor score marks a further competition milestone without implying that the ratification process had already concluded.
