FIDAL plans women’s sport forums in Palermo and Cagliari
The April meetings connect equal opportunities with law, physiology and performance.

FIDAL announced two forums on equal opportunities and women’s talent in sport. The first takes place in Palermo on 11 April and the second in Cagliari on 18 April, bringing legal, scientific and technical perspectives into a shared discussion.
The federation’s gender-equity commission is organising the programme. Palermo’s Palazzo Steri, home to the university, will host speakers including FIDAL vice-president Manuela Levorato, national-team coach Chiara Milardi and multiple Olympic canoe medallist Josefa Idem.
The Cagliari gathering will be held at Palazzo Viceregio with support from the local university. National technical director Antonio La Torre will moderate, with contributions from Levorato, Sardinian federation president Manuela Caddeo and other specialists working across the sector.
