FIDAL presented a new Italian women’s champion jersey at Casa Italia during the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. The unveiling formed part of a gender-equity meeting organised by CONI, the Games foundation and the IOC at Milan’s Triennale.
Federation vice-president Manuela Levorato attended with technical director Antonio La Torre. She connected the presentation to FIDAL’s work on representation and recognition of women’s expertise, highlighting the gap between competitive achievements and access to leadership roles.
The meeting concluded a national training initiative comprising twenty-one stages on gender equity in Italian sport. CONI vice-president Diana Bianchedi and Olympic champion Nawal El Moutawakel also contributed, placing the jersey presentation within a wider discussion of women’s participation and leadership.
