FIP announced that all four junior continental team cups would take place during 2026 for the first time. Egypt was awarded Africa’s competition on 15–20 June, Portugal Europe’s on 29 June–4 July, Indonesia Asia’s on 9–14 November and Mexico America’s on 10–14 November.

The events would award continental team titles and serve as qualifying tournaments for the 2027 FIP Junior World Cup. Host cities were to be announced later, following the board’s assessment of applications submitted through the previous year’s bidding process for the competitions.

Teams could enter at least one and no more than two pairs per under-fourteen, under-sixteen and under-eighteen category, with delegations capped at twelve athletes. President Luigi Carraro described the coordinated calendar as a more structured development pathway and thanked the four host national federations.
