FIS marked International Women’s Day by reporting progress across leadership training, athlete education and competition opportunities. Its first two Women Lead Sports cohorts produced forty-eight graduates drawn from national associations and Para sport staff, expanding a programme intended to strengthen women’s participation in decision-making throughout snow sports.

The federation reported that women held half of its board positions and thirty percent of Council seats in its 2024/25 figures. It also described safeguarding instruction for coaches, coordinators and experts working at development camps, treating athlete welfare as part of its wider participation efforts.

Eleven Training Female Athletes webinars had attracted an average of more than sixty participants during 2025 and early 2026. Recordings were available through FIS TV, with three further sessions still open for registration.
