FIVB approved 341 development projects across 107 federations in 2025

FIVB reported approval of 341 Volleyball Empowerment projects across 107 national federations during 2025. The programme provides targeted assistance in coaching, equipment and knowledge transfer, giving national organisations practical support for their athletes, coaches and international competition pathways.
The annual total comprised 124 coaching projects, 109 equipment projects and 108 knowledge transfer initiatives. Since 2017, the federation said investment had exceeded USD 57 million across more than 1,740 projects involving 207 national federations.
A digital project platform introduced in 2025 added online applications, progress monitoring and automated alerts, with links to the federation's volleyball information and contract systems. FIVB also reminded federations that the first application window of 2026 remained open until 31 March.
