The FIVB Communication Commission brought federation officials, Volleyball World and the Volleyball Foundation together to review its communications strategy. Chaired by Peter Diamond, the commission has 14 members representing 13 countries and is contributing to the federation's Strategic Vision 2032.

The agenda included plans for World Volleyball Day in 2026, following its inaugural edition a year earlier. Members also received updates on federation websites, social channels and the Foundation's communications, while Volleyball World outlined its content distribution and broadcasting developments.

Four working groups presented findings on new forms of volleyball, television relationships within territories and confederations, statistics as a tool for engaging supporters, and content outside live coverage. The meeting connected those separate areas with the wider ambition to expand volleyball's audience.
