The FIVB Legal Commission examined the federation's constitutional review and wider legal developments affecting volleyball. Its March report described the meeting as part of the good governance work attached to point twelve of Strategic Vision 2032.
The legal department provided an update covering 7,629 international transfers during the 2024–25 season. Members also discussed the CEV constitution submitted for FIVB approval, placing the European confederation's rules alongside the international federation's own ongoing review.
A further agenda item was the European Court of Human Rights decision in Altiner Akinci versus Türkiye. Commission president Rogerio Oliveira thanked the legal team and members for their contributions, highlighting the independence under which the commission operates. The report set out subjects reviewed without announcing a completed constitutional change.
