The FIVB Mass Participation and Snow Volleyball Commission reviewed initiatives intended to double volleyball's global movement from 800 million to 1.6 billion people. The federation's March report placed community access and interactive experiences at major tournaments at the centre of those discussions.
Members examined Volleyball Experience activities introduced at the Paris Olympics and subsequently delivered at the 2025 indoor and beach world championships. The meeting also considered a December knowledge transfer course in India, where more than 100 female coaches completed four days of practical learning.
Another focus was Kanya Kiran, the programme developed with KIIT and KISS that introduced thousands of girls to volleyball through drills and games. Updates also covered snow volleyball and the Volleyball Foundation's work.
