Five FISU ambassadors work behind the scenes at Winter Games
Their roles ranged from delegation coordination to venue protocol and sliding-centre operations.

FISU profiled five student ambassadors who worked in operational roles at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. The group represented Italy, Hungary, the Republic of Korea and Romania, extending the university-sport movement’s involvement beyond athletes competing on snow and ice.
Matteo Malfer supported relations with national Olympic and Paralympic committees, while Giulia Ercole coordinated ambassador experiences and logistics with OMEGA. Brúnó Negyeliczky served as deputy venue protocol manager at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.
Negyeliczky also led a team of forty-five international protocol volunteers. Gyurhee Kelly Kim supervised event operations at the Cortina Sliding Centre. The federation’s account described responsibilities involving arrivals, hospitality, official seating and coordination, illustrating the work required to deliver the Games alongside sporting competition.
